Questions & Answers

FAQ

Key questions about our services, engagement models and how we support your project.

Our senior nuclear consultants are available to review your program requirements.

Reach out anytime. We're happy to answer any questions before you commit to working together.

How does ENGINORD avoid conflicts of interest?

We work alongside your existing contractors, providing independent technical oversight on the Owner’s behalf. This includes, for example, verifying contractor milestones, reviewing quality assurance and assessing change orders. We can also act as your Owner’s Engineer, representing you in dealings with EPC, prime and other plant contractors.

At what program stage should ENGINORD be engaged?

As early as pre-feasibility and technology assessment. 80% of project costs and risk are determined before EPC contracting and first concrete.

How do you work with existing EPC contractors?

We do not replace the EPC contractor. We provide the Owner with an independent technical oversight layer to verify contractor milestones, QA, and change orders.

What reactor technologies does your team cover?

Our portfolio covers major Gen III/III+ PWR, BWR, VVER technologies as well as emerging SMR and advanced modular designs.

How rapidly can an Owner’s Engineer team be deployed?

C-suite leadership engages immediately, backed by our international network of up to 100 specialists. Assembling the specialist team typically takes 1–6 months, depending on the scale of the engagement and the level of specialisation required.
